OSUN State Police Command on Tuesday promised all residents of the State adequate security arrangements for the Eid-El-Kabir celebration on Wednesday and Thursday this week.
In a Press Release signed by the Police Public Relations Officer, SP Yemisi Opalola available to SOJ WORLDWIDE, gave some hot lines in case of any break down of law and order.
“The Osun State Police Command wishes to inform the general public that the Command has emplaced adequate security arrangements to ensure that this year’s EID-EL KABIR is celebrated peacefully.
The aim of this announcement is to further re-assure the citizens of the State of the proactive security mechanisms put in place by the Command to guarantee safety of lives and property of the entire citizens before, during and beyond this festivity.

It is however pertinent to advise the residents and visitors in the State to use halls/enclosed areas for any party instead of celebrating on the streets.
