A new acting Provost has been appointed by the Osun State Governor, Mr Adegboyega Oyetola for the Osun State College of Education, Ila-Orangun.

“The Governor of the State of Osun, Mr Adegboyega Oyetola has approved the appointment of Professor Jimoh Atanda Afolabi as the Acting Provost of the Osun State College of Education, Ila Orangun.

Professor Jimoh Atanda Afolabi obtained his First and Second Degrees from the University of Ibadan and his PhD from the Federal University of Technology, Akure in Ondo State.
He served as a Professor of Agricultural and Resource Economics in the Federal University of Technology, Akure from 2013 till his new appointment.

He is widely travelled, locally and internationally. He is married with children.
