FORMER aide to former President Goodluck Jonathan and foremost critic of President Muhammadu Buhari based in the United Kingdom, Reno Omokri has hit hard on the Presidential candidate of the Labour Party (LP), Peter Obi.

Omokri said Peter Obi contributed to the fall of Naira through “what he dumps on the Nigerian market…things Nigeria produce.”
He went further that Obi’s action contributed to the ‘close down’ of Dagote Tomato manufacturing firm in Kano.
“The thing about @PeterObi’s mass importation is that what he dumps on the Nigerian market are things we can produce. He imports Heinz Ketchup and tomato paste. It is because of Peter’s cheap imports that Dangote’s tomato paste manufacturing firm in Kano suffered!
It is the height of hypocrisy for one of the biggest importers of consumer goods to strut about telling gullible people that he will move Nigeria from consumption to production. You import and dump on the market. People like you are destroying the value of the Naira.
My dear friend @PeterObi, let me rest for now. However, if your attack dogs should as much as call my name again, I will unleash more on you. You are the one contesting election, not me. Warn them. If not for their attack on me today, I would have held my peace!”, said Omokri.
