PAUL Pogba is renowned professional footballer playing for top clubs in Europe but something happened along the line, he was tested positive of doping, banned for four years.
However, after he appealed the penalty, it was reduced to 18 months. Pogba told who cares to listen that he saw hell within the period as his fans, admirers even his wife suddenly turned their back against him.

It was reported that he broke down in tears after serving his penalty.
Daily Mail reported,
“In September 2023, Pogba was handed a four-year suspension after returning an adverse drugs test, however that suspension was slashed to just 18 months last October.
Pogba’s ban officially ended earlier this year but his contract with Juventus has previously been mutually terminated.
Monaco announced that the 32-year-old has signed a two-year deal with the Champions League club, keeping him there until the summer of 2027.
With Monaco, Pogba will aim to relaunch his club career and push for a return to the French national team ahead of the 2026 World Cup.”

Pogba has this to say about how his wife and fans abandoned him,
“My wife abandoned me when I was bãnned from football and lost my fame. She was only there for the Money and Fame.” Paul Pogba said.
When I got banned from football, everything in my life changed. The fame was gone, the spotlight faded, and just like that, people disappeared. I wasn’t useful to anyone anymore.
The same people who used to call me every day, invite me to events, show me love and respect — they all went silent.
But what broke me the most wasn’t the fans or friends walking away, it was my own wife leaving me. The woman I thought would stand beside me when life got dark simply walked away. That pain still lives in my heart.

I was no longer “Pogba the star,” so people treated me like I didn’t matter. It felt like everything I built just fell apart in front of me. But maybe that’s what I needed.
That season of pain helped me see people for who they really are. It hurt, but it also woke me up. I’m finally at peace because the noise is gone. No more fake friends, no more lies. I now know I’m walking this journey alone, and that’s okay. I’ve found strength in the silence.” Pogba concluded.
