My wife and mother of our two kids went to a party using my car last weekend. She is used to using my car on weekends. Around 6pm I got an anonymous call to tell me that my wife was ‘getting naughty’ at room XYZ at some lodge.

I immediately tracked my car and it was at the venue of the party. The lodge I was told about is about 10 kilometres from where my car was parked. I immediately Ubered to the lodge. From the door of that room I could hear my wife moaning the loudest.

The car parked in front of that room was a car I knew very well. It’s her colleague’s car. I thought they would have locked the door but I attempted to open anyway.

To my surprise the door opened. My wife was lying on her back with legs in the sky. Zero protection. I had 100 thoughts racing in my head in a space of a few seconds. I’m glad I managed to compose myself. When they me saw they jumped and the guy ran to the bathroom.

I simply asked for my car keys and walked away. I Ubered to her party venue to fetch my car and went home. I locked myself in the bedroom to cry because I didn’t want my children to know.

It’s Tuesday today and she hasn’t come home. I have been receiving calls from her mother, friends and aunts but I’m not answering. I didn’t expect this from her.

We are Christians and don’t even drink alcohol. I don’t think I’ll ever recover from what I saw. I’m asking myself where I failed as a man. She posts me all the time thanking me for being the best husband and father. She tells me how happy she is with me all the time. Then why cheat if she’s happy?
