A recent political gathering at Sabo Market, Ilesa, Osun State, marked a significant milestone in the state’s political landscape.
Senator Ade Fadahunsi, a member of the All Progressives Congress (APC), made a grand entrance, choosing the vibrant Market Square to announce his allegiance to Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu.
Fadahunsi’s declaration was rich in symbolism, drawing parallels with the biblical parable of the lost coin. He held “imole” (light) and “igbale” (broom) to signify illuminating the path and sweeping away obstacles to restore Osun’s lost treasure – political influence and leadership embodied by Tinubu. His rallying cry, “Moti ti ri! E wa wo!!” (“I have found it! Come and see!!”), resonated with the crowd, endorsing Tinubu’s leadership ahead of the 2027 presidential contest.
