SIX Dead, Including Policeman, On Kara Bridge Along Lagos-Ibadan Expressway Fatal Accident

A multiple-truck collision on Kara Bridge has claimed the lives of at least six people, including a police officer.

The accident, which occurred on Wednesday night, October 29, 2025 involved several trucks, including a fuel tanker, and caused a heavy gridlock on the expressway.

Eight casualties were recorded, with three injured people taken to the hospital, and a police inspector among the deceased.

Preliminary reports indicate brake failure as the likely cause of the accident, which is still under investigation.
