Another veteran Yoruba Nollywood star is dead

Veteran Yoruba Nollywood star, Chief Abdul Tawab Olaitan Ile-Aje Adeniyi, popularly called Toromagbe, died on Sunday, 30 November, 2020 at the of 63.

The death of Adeniyi, who acted Toromagbe, in the popular TV series, Arelu, was announced by his brother, Chief Tola Adeniyi.

The late Adeniyi was a member of the Jimoh Aliu a.k.a Aworo and his role in Arelu made him popular among film lovers in the late 80s and 90s.

A great actor, dancer and choreographer in his very exciting and engaging life, Ile-Aje was a very cheerful and boisterous personality.

Very widely travelled, Tawab’s theatre career took him round Nigeria and West Africa sub-region.
