THE Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC), has once again appealed to all eligible voters who are yet to collect their Permanent Voters Card (PVC) to go and collect it now to avoid the rush and overcrowding experiemce usually experienced towards the closing of the exercise.

This was contained in the Media Release available to SOJ WORLDWIDE on January 5, 2023.

INEC also told eligible voters especially in Osun State and the country at large that collection of PVC have been made easy for voters to go to their Registration Area Wards from Friday 6, 2023 to January 15, 2023. The exercise will revert to the LGAs offices till the closing date of January 22, 2023 according to the release from the Osun State Resident Electoral Commissioner (REC), Dr. Mutiu Oladele AGBOKE.

“Consequent upon the ongoing collection of PVCs in all the INEC Local Government Offices in Osun State, the general public is hereby informed that the Commission has devolve PVC collection to all the 332 Registration Areas also known as Wards in Osun State from Friday 6th to Sunday 15th January, 2023.

Those that are unable to collect their PVCs at the Local Government Offices of the Commission can do so at the Registration Areas/Wards. After the 15th of January 2023, the exercise will revert to the Local Government Offices of the Commission until Sunday 22nd January, 2023.

The Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) Osun State hereby call on the general public most especially all eligible and valid registrants who are yet to collect their Permanent Voters’ Cards (PVCs), including those who applied for transfer or replacement of their cards, to visit the Registration Area/Ward in the Local Government Area where they registered in Osun State between the hours of 9am to 3pm daily.

 

 

Please note that collection by proxy is not allowed.

PVC Collection is FREE!

No PVC, No Voting. Therefore, ensure you use this opportunity to collect your PVC.”
