According to a report from the Brazilian web portal UOL&rdquor, Barça are negotiating a first option on the transfer of Pedrinho, one of the young stars of Brazilian football, who made the first team at Corinthians this January.
According to the same source, the two clubs have already reached a pre-agreement for the 19 year old that will give Barça the right to buy the player from 2018 or 2019. Pedrinho has a release fee of €50 million but his market fee would be much lower at around €10-15 million.
This is main stumbling block to an agreement with Barça because it is thought his transfer value could double in a year but Barcelona are not willing to enter a bidding war. Corinthians own 70% of the financial rights to the player and the rest is owned by the business man Will Dantas.
