The news just reaching SOJ WORLDWIDE ONLINE NEWS had it that some gunmen suspected to be Fulani herdsmen had gunned down a Police Corporal simply known as Lasisi.
The incident happened at a check-point in Akoko South area of Ondo State a few minutes ago.
A reliable source who would not want his name in print said the police just brought the corpse of the policeman to the hospital where he was certified dead. He was shot in the chest.
In his wors, “…In Akoko South East of Ondo State General Hospital, Ipe-Akoko, Fulani herdsmen shot sporadically on Police Force on duty. In fact, the corpse is still in our hospital now as I speak.”
