Unknown Gunmen attacked convoy of a House of Representatives member, Chris Emeka Azubogu and shot the driver dead.

According to eyewitness reports, the gunmen invaded the convoy in Nnobi area of Anambra state on Thursday evening.

This development is coming barely 24 hours after Dr. Chike Akunyili, husband to late NAFDAC DG, Dora Akunyili, was gruesomely shot dead in Nkpor area of the state by gunmen.

The driver was shot by the assailants and he died instantly. Fortunately, Azubogu was not in the convoy during the attack.
