PROFESSOR Zainab Duke-Abiola was on Friday remanded in Prison over alleged assault of a Policewoman, Inspector Teju Moses for her refusal to run errands in Police uniform.
She appeared in Court covering her face with pure white dress along with one of her maids.

“The chief Magistrate court sitting in Abuja has refused the bail application for Professor Zainab Duke -ABIOLA and others who assaulted a police officer assigned to her as orderly .
The Magistrate, his worship, Justice Elizabeth Jones-Wonni.says she is heavily relying on section 229 of the penal code which gives jurisdiction to the chief Magistrate to handle the case of culpable homicide to the bail application.
The defendants are to be taken to suleja correctional facility till the 5th of October, 2022 when the trial will commence.”
It will be recalled that Inspector Moses face was allegedly battered on the instructions of the Professor because she refused to do ‘house chores’ in Police uniform in her residence.
