The Supervisor of the Ministry of Home Affairs, Culture and Tourism, Environment and Sanitation, Dr Obawale Adebisi has sent congratulatory greetings to the governor of the State of Osun, Mr Gboyega Oyetola on his victory at the Court of Appeal in Abuja today, Thursday, May 9, 2019.
Dr Adebisi who was ecstatic at the victory of the governor said his joy knew no bounds because of the timing of his victory that coincides with the 32nd memorial anniversary celebration of the late sage, Chief Obafemi Awolowo who was noted for his sterling qualities on his service to mankind while he was alive.
He said, “the victory of Governor Oyetola today at the Court of Appeal, Abuja was a victory of light over darkness, victory for continuity of the good work of Ogbeni Rauf Aregbesola and it was a grand victory for the masses who trooped our under the scorching sun to cast their vote for the governor in September 2018.”
“Today’s victory is a testimony that the Judiciary is the last hope of the common man. The State of Osun will now have the time to deliver the dividend of democracy to the good people of the state in every nook and cranny of the state.”
It would be recalled that Senator Ademola Adeleke had earlier defeated Governor Oyetola at the Governorship Election Petition Tribunal on March 22 this year.
