There is confusion everywhere over an Italian citizen who imported CORONA VIRUS into Nigeria few days ago especially about the driver who drove the man from Lagos to Ogun State.
In this video clip, one Jude Ikuenobe who said AIT was carrying fake news about him was seen in a video clip that has gone viral on social media denying it.
He claimed he had never been to Lagos in the past two years let alone being an Uber Driver.
Jude Ikuenobe speaks:
African Independent Television (AIT), you have been running repeated news items on your television station to Nigerian viewers and viewers around the world with my photograph to the effect that I was the driver / contact person to the Italian who was diagnosed with Corona Virus. The basis of that news item is false and unfounded. I was not the driver / contact person to the Italian diagnosed with Corona virus. I have not been to Lagos in the past one year.

I don’t have contact with any Italian much less the one with a Corona virus. I am not a cab / taxi driver. I reside in Benin City, Edo State where I trade on telephone accessories.
Your continuous airing of this news item to viewers in Nigeria and around the world has brought me so much anguish and pain. What makes it more painful and heartbreaking for me is your callous, vicious ,malicious and slanderous embellishment to the effect that I escaped from the hospital and was demanding the sum of 100million naira from Nigeria Government /Health Authorities in order not to spread Corona virus across the length and breadth of Nigeria.

That story is false, baseless and wicked.
Given all I have stated above, it is my firm demand that AIT should run at least 50 repeated news items refuting this callous message about me which was wrong with my photograph within 24hours.
