President of Real Madrid, Florentino Perez, has sparked massive reactions across the football world after delivering what many fans described as one of the most explosive press conferences in recent football history.
The long-serving football administrator stunned journalists with a series of controversial statements, direct attacks on critics, and bold claims about his leadership at the Spanish giants.
Right from the beginning of the press conference, Perez made it clear that he would not entertain questions related to sporting matters, despite several journalists attempting to raise football issues.
“I am sorry that I won’t resign,” Perez reportedly declared while addressing the media.
Furthermore, he called for presidential elections three years earlier than expected and challenged anyone interested in replacing him to contest if they believed they were capable.
“If they can, let them run,” he said.

During the heated session, Perez strongly rejected claims that Real Madrid operates like a dictatorship. Instead, he described himself as the most successful president in the club’s history.
“I have won 74 titles. The only way they will remove me is if they shoot me,” Perez stated.
In addition, the Real Madrid president downplayed reports of dressing-room tensions involving players like Aurelien Tchouameni and Federico Valverde.
According to him, disagreements among players happen regularly in football.
“Players fight every season. Four or five players hit each other every year. It is normal. Tchouameni and Valverde are good kids,” he explained.
Meanwhile, Perez shocked journalists when he reportedly pulled out his mobile phone during the press conference to read what he described as “fake news” published by several media organizations, especially ABC.
He also singled out one female ABC journalist for criticism.
“She doesn’t even know if she understands football,” he said.
Moreover, Perez dismissed rumours suggesting he was sick, tired, or battling cancer.
“I am a supernatural animal, a beast. I work day and night,” he declared.
The veteran football executive also launched a strong attack on Barcelona over the controversial Negreira case, describing it as the most disgraceful scandal in football history.
According to Perez, Real Madrid has already prepared documents to report Barcelona to UEFA.
“We are going to defend Real Madrid,” he insisted.
Furthermore, Perez claimed that Real Madrid would have won at least seven more La Liga titles if the club had not been “robbed.”
He also boasted about the club’s financial strength, insisting that Real Madrid currently possesses the most valuable squad in world football, according to Transfermarkt rankings.
At another point during the tense conference, Perez reportedly argued openly with journalists seated in front of him and threatened to cancel media subscriptions.
Beyond football, the Real Madrid president highlighted his success in business.
“I am a construction mogul. My companies generate billions of euros worldwide,” he stated.
Despite the controversies surrounding the club this season, Perez urged Real Madrid supporters to continue backing the players instead of booing them.
“Support the players,” he appealed to fans.
At the end of the dramatic press conference, Perez reportedly wished everyone good night before leaving the room with one final remark directed at journalists.
“I hope to never see you again,” he said before exiting.
The fiery press conference has since generated intense debates across social media, with football fans divided over Perez’s comments and confrontational approach.
