OSUN 2018: Gubernatorial hopeful dissociates self from insulting Ogbeni Rauf Aregbesola

One of the leading governorship aspirants, Alhaji Moshood Adeoti popularly known as SHEHU has dissociated himself from story making rounds on social media that he was insulting the incumbent governor of Osun State, Ogbeni Rauf Adesoji Aregbesola.

In a statement made available to SOJWORLD.COM by his Director of Media and Publicity, Mr. Adesoye Agbaje he said politics to him is not a do-or-die affair.
Alhaji Adeoti said he is a lover of peace having held many positions as party leader in Osun State he could not have been involved in such demeaning action.

• “PUBLIC NOTICE
Alhaji Moshood Olalekan Adeoti, a frontline governorship aspirant on the platform of the ruling-All Progressives Congress (APC) and current Secretary to the Government of the State of Osun has dissociated himself from all attempts by individuals and groups on the various social media platforms, insulting the personalities of Governor Rauf Aregbesola, his cabinet members, all party executives and party leaders in the state.
As a man who had at various times held party leadership positions at the local and state levels and a believer in peace, there is no way he could have anything to do with such.

He is therefore using this opportunity to appeal to all his supporters operating on the various social media platforms, to henceforth stop attacking anyone including the person of Governor Rauf Aregbesola, his cabinet members, party executives from the State Chairman down the ladder, and all party leaders in the state.
Contest within the party, in his opinion ought to be a family affair and should remain so.
The governorship aspiration, according to him, is not a-do-or-die thing.
“There are many more available positive ways you can express your love for me other than insulting the persons of Mr Governor and the party leaders in the state,” Alhaji Adeoti furher opined.

He however expressed his eternal gratitude to all his supporters for their show of love so far, while he also admonished them to continue in the spirit but without rubbishing the personality of anyone.
