A shocking report revealed how a 16-year-old boy allegedly ran mad after confessing to being sexually molested by a popular hotelier in the Bucknor area of Isheri Oshun, Lagos State.
The student’s ordeal began before last Christmas when he confided in his mother about the molestation. The mother, who had promised confidentiality, was shocked to hear that the hotelier had lured her son and four of his fellow students to his hotel, where he sodomized them and threatened them with death if they disclosed the incident.
The student’s behavior took a turn for the worse after his confession, with him becoming increasingly erratic and talking to himself like a mad person. His parents rushed him to a prayer house and later to the Isheri Osun police station, where he made a statement and narrated his encounter with the hotelier.
The police investigation revealed that the hotelier had been using his hotel as a hub for sodomizing young boys, paying them N5,000 after each encounter. The student’s testimony was corroborated by one of his fellow victims, who provided a detailed account of the hotelier’s actions.
The case has been transferred to Zone 2, Onikan, Lagos, where the Assistant Inspector General of Police, Adegoke Fayoade, confirmed that investigation is ongoing. The hotelier is currently in detention pending the conclusion of the investigation.
