The Chairman of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in Imo State, Barr. Charles Bamidele Ezekwem (JP) has resigned as party chairman and member of the party.

Ezekwem said he left the party after due consultations with his family and supporters.
It will be recalled that the Governor of Imo State under the platform of PDP, Emeka Ihedioha lost his seat to the APC candidate who came 4th in the governorship election held in 2019.
