The Edo State Governor, Godwin Obaseki has reacted to Asiwaju Ahmed Bola Tinubu’s verbal attacks and his appeal to reject him at the polls on Saturday for rejecting 14 lawmakers from performing their constitutional rights at the Edo State House of Assembly.
In his response available to SOJ WORLDWIDE ONLINE NEWS on his official Twitter Page (@GovernorObaseki), he said,
“We stand by democracy in Edo. Democracy is govt of the people, by the people and for the people, not govt by godfathers. We have defeated the local godfather in Edo State and the main godfather has become jilttery. But we are determined to end godfatherism in Nigeria.”
