The Vice-Presidential candidate of the African People’s Alliance (APA), HON Prince Adesoji Masilo Adeleke has commended the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) for a free, fair and credible presidential and National Assembly elections conducted on February 23, 2019.

PRINCE:  He congratulated President Muhammadu Buhari and Vice President Yemi Osinbajo for their victory in the just concluded election.

He said Nigeria, for the first time Nigeria had a perfect combination in President. Buhari and Prof Osinbajo.

Prince Masilo also extends his warm congratulations to the 13 governors elected under the platform of APC and all the House of Assembly members elect across the states.

“President Buhari had a military background as a General and a former Head of State with a discipline background and Prof. Osinbajo with a law background as a professor of law.”

“As far as I am concerned the combinations of the President and his Vice is enough to give us good dividend of democracy that will take us to the next level.”

“I also want to give a ‘thumb up’ to INEC for declaring all the states that electoral malpractices took place that was declared inconclusive and the Rivers State election that was suspended as a result of thuggery, killings and electoral frauds”

In his Acceptance Speech, President Buhari promised to run an inclusive administration by giving appointments to other members of other political parties most especially both the Presidential and Vice Presidential candidates of such political parties that supported him for VICTORY in the last elections. This a good decision in the right direction.

Prince Masilo told SOJWORLD.COM that he hoped the supplementary election slated for March 23, 2019, would not be manipulated by overzealous politicians.

He enjoined all successful candidates to see positions as a national call to serve the people not for self-aggrandizement to amass wealth.
