Engr Raji Kehinde ‘Aaraj’ has opened up on the lingering crisis between him and one of his boys whose name is Tijani Kamoru popularly known as Otunba.
Aaraj described Otunba as one of the street boys he picked up in Osogbo who the ruling PDP party is now using to defame and blackmail him on the social media.
Aaraj who has been empowering youths across the length and breath of the state through his empowerment foundation popularly known as Kejebu told newsmen how he raised Otunba up paying him salary even when he was not doing anything for him.
He narrated how he eventually employed him and made him Equipment Foreman to work on his projects in Oyo State.
In spite of non fulfillment of promises made by the PDP at the pre-election period in 2022 he said he did not regret supporting Ademola Adeleke during the 2022 Osun State gubernatorial election.
Aaraj made this known while fielding questions from journalists during the Osun Arsenal Supporters Club meeting and media chat in Osogbo on Saturday, February 1, 2025.
Aaraj who condemned the governance style of Governor Adeleke stated that it was nepotistic in nature.
He said, “Their nepotistic style of government should stop. Go to Egbedore and Ejigbo Local Governments and see the level of work being done in comparison with Ede.
“In terms of employment, let them give us the statistics of appointments they have made. The major appointments is from Ede. Larger percentage is from Ede. So I think. So, they should use the next two years to correct it and work on other Local Governments to balance the equation. It is not acceptable by the people of Osun.
“Aside that, they ought to do better.”

When asked to assess the Ademola Adeleke’s administration in two years, Aaraj opined that they have tried within their own limit.
“As far as I am concerned , the Adeleke administration has tried within their own limit. The funds that have accrued into the state account, no government in this state has had opportunity to have that kind of money. That is almost N700 billion.
“With that kind of amount, the level of work being done! Yes! They are working all around but what’s the quality like?
They should compare the work done in Oyo to that of Osun State. There is need to really work on that.”
On his personal life, he maintained that he is a man without secrets and despite not being a politician, he loves good governance.

“We are human beings. I have no secrets but rather I am a private individual and business man who has never made any money from the Osun State government except one under Aregbesola.”
“I am not a politicians but love good governance. I don’t vote political parties but I vote individuals.”
Meanwhile, Arsenal Supporters Club Osun State Chapter held its first Annual General Meeting, AGM at the country home of Aaraj at Oke-Fia GRA on Saturday. Executive officials were elected to represent the three Senatorial zones in the State.
Aaraj donated the sum of Three million NAIRA for empowerment and Palliatives for members.
