The Osun State Police Command has taken delivery of a Patrol Vehicle to complement their efforts in combating crime in the state in Dada Estate Divisional Police Headqarters on Thursday, October 7, 2021.

The commissioning of the new Patrol Vehicle was conducted by the Area Commander of the Osogbo Area Commander, ACP Kayode Ayilara on behalf of the Osun State Commissioner of Police, CP Olawale Olokode.
“While receiving the patrol vehicle bought by the Police and Personality Forum (PAPEF) to Dada Estate Divisional Headquarters, Osogbo today 6th October, 2021, ACP Ayilara reiterated the command’s commitment and assures the people of the Community and Osun State in general of 24/7 visibility policing.”
“The Area Commander on behalf of the CP thanked the Chairman of PAPEF, Rtd. Group Captain Fanu, the state PAPEF coordinator, Prophet Odeyemi Tosin and the entire members of the forum for their concern for Police and wonderful presentation of the patrol vehicle to the Command. He stated further that, the patrol vehicle will enhance an effective and efficient policing of the area to bring down the tide of crime to barest ebb.”

“The CP also thanked the Governor, Mr Adegboyega Oyetola, represented by Mrs Abiodun Ige CP (rtd), SA security to the Governor for honouring the invitation for the commissioning and handing over of the patrol vehicle.”
“The SA security who was the initiator/inaugurator of Police and Personalities Forum (PAPEF) in the state while delivering the Governor’s message appreciated the PAPEF for this wonderful gesture.”
Finally, CP promises to use the vehicle judiciously for the benefits of the Community; while urging other prominent and well-to-do people of the state to emulate same in helping the Police to serve them better as the government alone cannot do it all.”
