PANIC As Petrol Tanker Loses Control, Bursts Into Flames In Apata, Ibadan

A fully-loaded tanker has lost control in Apata area of Ibadan, the Oyo state capital. 

Our correspondent learnt that the tanker lost control and bursted into flames immediately.

Sources told our Correspondent that the tanker wreaked havoc at Apata junction.

The incident occurred opposite Oando filling station on Thursday, December 15, 2022  evening.

One of the eyewitnesses said that the tanker, which was coming from Omi area lost control and rammed into a block of shops opposite the filling station and immediately burst into flames.

The number of affected shops have not been ascertained as at the time of filing this report.

But, men of Oyo state fire service have arrived the venue.

They were still at the scene of the incident as at the time of filing this report on Thursday, December 15, 2022.
