PDP shifts Southwest Congress date, venue over crisis

Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) has shifted the venue and date of its Southwest Congress billed to take place in Ibadan today over leadership crisis between ex-Governor of Ekiti State, Ayodele Fayose and the Oyo State Governor, Engr Seyi Makinde.

National Publicity Secretary, Kola Ologbodiyan in his Official Twitter Page announced the changes in date and venue of the congress,

“@OfficialPDPNig NWC after extensively discussing the issues of concern in the South West resolves as follow:

Moves the venue of the South West Congress to Oshogbo, Osun State

The South West Congress is scheduled for Monday, April 12, 2021″
