Mrs Adebisi Badejo, the wife of a popular Radio Presenter and DJ, Titus Badejo who was killed in front of a Club House in Ibadan, Oyo State lamented on the death of her husband who was assassinated in his prime on Saturday night of June 19, 2021.

Mrs Badejo who is at advanced stage of pregnancy with three children was crying when BBC Yoruba and members of Nigerian Union of Journalists visited to condole with her and her family.
” People were asking me who do I suspect killed my husband, I said I didn’t suspect anyone because my husband is an easy-going personality. He doesn’t have any issues with anyone. What I want the government of Seyi Makinde do for me is to fish out those who killed my husband in his prime and let the law take its course.”

“They killed him at a time I and my children supposed to start enjoying our lives.”
“He did a project in LAUTECH in Ogbomoso and it was successful, he sold his only car to prosecute the project. He told me if he complete the project he will buy another car for me because of my condition (pregnancy) so that I will not be walking bare-footed.”
Members of NUJ, Oyo State chapter visited the family to commiserate with them on the premature death of their colleague, Badejo.

They urged the Oyo State governor, Engr. Seyi Makinde to look for a way to put an end to the incessant Killings and thuggery in Oyo State.
“We were saddened by the death of our colleague who was killed prematurely in his prime. We missed his immense contributions to the progress of Oyo State.”
“The recent thuggery in Ibadan and Oyo State is worrisome. We want the law enforcement agents and government to double up their efforts because we cant continue like this. Three days ago we were in the family house of Raman to condole with them because he was one of us killed in the fracas that occured in Iwo Road, we are here again today to mourn the death of another colleague.”

“These evil occurrences have sent shivers and fears in newsmen in the state. There must be an end to these incessant killings in Oyo State”
“We have given the Oyo State government 72 hours to fish out the killers of Badejo wherever they are hidden.”
