Mass kidnapping, forex crisis, hunger as a weapon, and scandal in the senate. All these just mere coincidence or a well orchestrated to truncate the Tinubu presidency? I am not a conspiracy theorist, but I have a hunch there is more to this madness than meets the eyes. Make no mistake about it, the incidence of mass kidnapping in the north looks, feels, and smells like a well oiled cottage industry to siphon money that is then used to fund criminality, banditry and terrorism.
How is it possible for a ragtag gang of criminals and bandits to organize and manage. the logistic complexity of kidnapping, transporting, hiding, housing and feeding 250 students undetected with all drones, mobile phone towers, and satellite technology all over the place? It is looking more and more like an organized catch and release scheme to destabilize the country and turn the citizens against this regime and it is working.
The pattern of the mass kidnapping scheme is becoming clear. Hordes of students are kidnapped, outrageous ransom is demanded (like the recent demand of trillions of Naira and hilux trucks how convenient to ask government to provide the vehicles used by terrorists) on queues like a clock works, a certain cleric comes out of the woodwork and volunteers to lead the negotiations. It looks all
too fishy to me.
We also must not forget that the allocation of security votes creates incentive as more money flows to where more security challenges emerge. The government should not fuel this criminal enterprise.
We need to open our eyes before the evil scheme is moved southward. We saw the beginning of this ugly trend in Ekiti State and the Osun state governor is already sounding the alarm bell that osun state is a target.
There are people who are hell bent on creating a state of anarchy to
destabilize the country and instigate a military intervention and we Yoruba are playing along, crying “ebi npawa” not realizing that we are playing into the hands of our enemy.
There are forces who are hell bent on preventing Tinubu from completing his term. They are still licking their wound wondering how Tinubu managed his Houdini escape act to neutralize all the trap doors they set on his path to prevent his ascendancy to the presidency. They will not rest on their oars until they force him out.
Yet, as smart as we Yoruba claim to be, we are unwittingly working against our own interest.

We are leading the mob banging at Tinubu’s cockpit as he struggles to salvage the country’s aircraft that was handed to him in the middle of an apocalyptic air turbulence, with one engine already disabled and the avionics out of service. Yet as he is trying to safe the aircraft from the pre-determined path to a catastrophic crash, we the passengers on board are banging on his cockpit yelling “ebi npawa”, “we are hungry” and asking the crew to serve us our last snack. That is the only analogy that fits the shout of “Ebi npawa” that is been led stupidly by Yorubas.
How can we Yoruba be so book smart and yet be so politically naive and stupid? Don’t let us miss the point and the plot. The scandal that was orchestrated by Senator Ningi was not an accident.
The senate has been padding the burget for decades when the north was running it. An unacceptable outrage and an obscenity of the highest order. So this is not an attempt to justify, acquiesce or support the shenanigans, the criminality and obscenity taking place in the senate.
I will never be a part of any scheme to circle the wagon of corruption to defend tribal interest. We all suffer when politicians fleece our commonwealth.
I have infact publicly expressed my outrage about the budget padding-gate that is scandalizing the senate and that has exposed once again, the obscenity, tone deafness, and the insensitivity of the Nigerian political class.
The question one must ask however, is why is it now that the Senator from the north, Senator Ningi felt it was the appropriate time to speak out about the decades old scheme that been used to fleece our commonwealth?

Why also did he intentionally latch the charge of corruption and budget padding around the neck of Tinubu? Why did he intentionally put Tinubu’s head on the bulls’ eye on target range in his accusation on Hausa BBC alleging that he Tinubu was pursuing an anti-north agenda?
Why did he make the allegation that Tinubu was in cahoots with the senate leadership in subverting the constitutional provision about budget matter?
We will be tragically naive if we think all of these things are happening in a well orchestrated lock step order by accident. No it is not.
All of it is a well orchestrated plot to turn the country against the Tinubu presidency. Make no mistake about it. Recall that the opposition was literarily banging the door at the military force headquarter demanding a military intervention after Tinubu was declared the president.

They were going to give him the Abiola treatment by invalidating his mandate but they failed. Make no mistake about it they will not give up easily unless we resist.
The currency collapse was engineered and pre planned by the massive printing of Naira before Tinubu took over. They only use the pretense of fuel subsidy removal and floating of the currency to unleash their evil plot to attack the Naira.
Similarly, the disruption of the domestic food supply chain and the diversion of food outside the country through smuggling, the sudden jacking up of the prices of cement and other consumer goods are all part and parcel of a coordinated effort to sabotage this presidency.
We must resist it with every single cell in our body. Yoruba must stop leading the mob that is banging on Tinubu’s cockpit. We must not help our enemy douse our own house with fuel so they can incinerate it.
