“A reflexive, non-instinctive leader who always tries to play the ball, all characteristics that go very well with the game of coach [Julio] Velazquez.”
Troost-Ekong joined Bursaspor from Gent last summer and featured in 28 Turkish Super Lig encounters, netting thrice – including the consolatory in their 2018-19 season-opener against Fenerbahce.
Ekong will play the upcoming campaign in Julio Velázquez’s setup who open their Serie A campaign with a clash against Parma on Sunday.
