The missing of a young one-year-old boy, Gold Kolawole came to a climax today at the Sotitobire Miracle Centre as angry youths vented their anger by burning down one of the biggest churches in Akure on Wednesday.

The burning of the church was as a result of a rumour that Gold was buried under the altar of the church but it has not been confirmed if actually the boy was buried in the church.

Baby Kolawole was declared missing one month ago during a church service after his mother dropped him at the children section.

The Founder of the Church, Prophet Alfa Babatunde was invited by the DSS a few days ago for questioning regarding the whereabouts of the Gold.

He was arrested based on a petition written by the parents of the missing child.

After destroying the Sotitobire Miracle Church in Akure, the Ondo state capital, rampaging youths stormed the house of the Resident Pastor, Alfa Babatunde, and destroyed everything they could find in sight.

The youths went wild following allegations that the body of a one year old who went missing during a Sunday church service inside the church in November, was allegedly exhumed from the altar of the church.

The police has since debunked the rumor, insisting the missing boy is yet to be found.
