WHAT Tinubu says on Obasanjo’s 85th birthday (FOR THE RECORDS)

FORMER Governor of Lagos State and the National Leader of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu on Saturday put political differences apart to pour encomiums on former President Olusegun Obasanjo on his 85th birthday on Saturday, March 5, 2022.

Tinubu made the statement in his Official Twitter Page monitored by SOJ WORLDWIDE ONLINE NEWS (www.sojworldnews.com).

“At 85, Baba Obasanjo remains strong, agile and committed to the greatness of our dear nation.

“President Obasanjo has made numerous useful contributions to this country. There have been instances where I have disagreed with President Obasanjo on important substantive issues.

“President Obasanjo has earned his stripes as an important statesman on the world stage.

“Baba Obasanjo is bold and courageous and will continue to be so for that is the essence of his character.
