PRESS RELEASE

The attention of Moshood Adeoti Campaign Organization (MACO) has been drawn to some malicious comments made by paid agents of darkness as touching an interview granted a private radio station in Osogbo by our Principal and frontline governorship candidate of the Action Democratic Party (ADP) in the September 22 governorship election in Osun State, Alhaji Moshood Olalekan Adeoti on Monday.

This reaction has become necessary in view of the need to put the record straight and put the masterminds of the heinous comments to shame.

During the interview session, at no time did Alhaji Adeoti mention that he would keep on with the anti-workers’ policies of the current administration in the state.

We as a team wonder why our Principal would resort to such when we have in stock, abundant welfare packages for the teeming Osun State civil servants, that will place them shoulder high above their colleagues across the country.

Osun State civil servants, if given the right incentives, would perform much better than their current output.
During a recent meeting with the state officers of the Pentecostal Fellowship of Nigeria (PFN) in Osogbo, our Principal, Adeoti emphatically added that his administration, if voted into power, would pay salaries and other emoluments of workers and pensioners as at when due.

“Oogun alaaru kii gbe,” (the sweat of one’s workers should not be allowed to dry before they get paid) Adeoti stated at the meeting.

By this statement, we hope to reiterate our commitment to an enhanced welfare that will positively touch the life of every resident of the state.

Our administration, if voted into power, would be masses-centred, while state-based artisans would have genuine cause to smile.

We also want to state clearly that no amount of campaign of calumny can deter our party, the ADP, from the task of saving the state from the slave masters, who have no stake in the Osun project, but rather determined to milk the state dry.
