Air Vice-Marshal Maisaka, grandchild assassinated by gunmen in Kaduna

Air Vice-Marshal Air Vice-Marshal Muhammad Maisaka and his grandchild were assassinated by gunmen at their residence in Ragasi, Igabi Local Government Area of Kaduna.

The Command’s Public Relations Officer, Muhammad Jalige confirmed the incident on Tuesday, in Kaduna.

Jalige said the incident occurred in the early hours of Tuesday.

He noted that Maisaka’s gateman sustained injuries from the attack.

He noted that the Commissioner of Police, Mudassiru Abdullah directed the Divisional Police Officer and the Area Commander to the scene.

He said: “The corpse has been evacuated to the hospital and the gateman has also been rushed to the hospital for treatment.”

Jalige, however, appealed to Kaduna residents to come forward with useful and timely information that could lead to the arrest of the culprits.
