Seriki Fulani, Alhaji. Abdulkadri Saliu whom Sunday Adejumo popularly known as Sunday Igboho confronted at Igangan in Ibarapa North Local Government Area of Oyo State narrated his nasty experience when the ultimatum Igboho gave him and subjects expired.

In an interview with BBC Yoruba monitored by SOJ WORLDWIDE ONLINE NEWS reporter, Seriki said his father and great grandfather were from Ilorin including his great grandmother. He said his father took him as a child to Igangan where his father lived, died and buried.

“Anytime I hear the name of Sunday Igboho I am always scared and afraid because of what I went through the day his group stormed Igangan. Since I was born I have never experienced what I passed through that day.”

“The day I heard that Sunday Igboho was heading for Ogun State, I couldn’t sleep. What he did to me, look at all my properties, We were only two from my mother, he killed my younger brother.  We saw four corpses that they killed. Two corpses are at Igangan right now that we cannot go there to carry.  After my brother, the police confirmed four corpses.”

“Is that the kind of man one would hear his name and you will not be scared?”

“I narrowly escaped death but for God, I would have been killed by now.”

Q:  People said you lost N500 million raw cash, people are now asking how did you come about such a huge amount?

Seriki:. God has blessed me since I was a child and I trade in cattle, apart from my children who do business with banks, I don’t have any other business apart from cow business. Under my bed, N1.1 million got burnt in my house that was set ablaze.

“All my cars including Venza, Lexus Jeep, Toyota Corolla apart from the ones belonging to my children and apart from other properties. I lost four flats including two ‘face-to-face houses I built, all got burnt apart from motorcycles. I lost 207 cows to the crisis…”
