BREAKING: Banker testifies in Timothy Adegoke’s murder case in Court

A banker with Stanbic IBTC Bank Plc, Miss Akekanmbi Joy Titobiloluwa on Monday, May 30, 2022 testified on behalf of the bank and the role the bank played in the alleged murder case of Timothy Oludare Adegoke, an MBA-EXUCUTIVE student of the Obafemi Awolowo University (OAU), Ile-Ife, Osun State.

The owner of the hotel, Dr. Rahman Adedoyin and six other defendants were in Court.

Three witnesses appeared in the court.

The Human Rights Activist and legal luminary, Mr Femi Falana (SAN) appeared in court to lead the prosecuting counsels.

Miss Adekanmbi Joy Titobiloluwa the first Witness lived at Ora, Ile-Ife, Osun State.

She is a Service Staff at Stanbic IBTC Bank at Ile- Ife where she worked as Client Service Officer.

“On the 22 of May 2022, A bank waa served subpoena to come here to testify and present a document which is a Statement of Account of Hilton Hotel and Honours from Ist of Nov to 14 of November 2021.”

“The document was printed from our bank computer System.”

“The computer was in perfect condition before during and after the document was printed from the Computer.”

“We attached a Certificate to show that the computer was in perfect condition.”

I was asked to come here through a Subpoena.

The document which contains the Hilton Statement of account was presented.

Falana asked Joy to look at the Statement on the 5th of November 2021 was any money paid?

No

What of the 6th of November?

N15,000 was paid twice from Edith Eferinwa Nosiri

On the 7th of November 2021?

No payment

8th of November?

12,800 by Madgalene Chiefuna, N6,400 by Quadri Moshood and N103,000 by Adedeji Adesola

On the 9th of November 2021?

N12,700 waa paid by Quadri Moshood

How familiar were you with the Account if Hilton Hotel?

The account was opened long before I joined the bank and have never interacted with the customer affair but I have their records on my system.
