President Muhammadu Buhari finally bowed to pressures as he sacked the Acting Chairman of Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC), Ibrahim Magu and replaced him with DCP Ahmad Abdulrahman.
It will be recalled that Magu had been at a loggerhead with the National Assembly that refused to confirm him and insisted he must be sacked before they can confirmation any President’s appointees.
Recently former DSS Director, Ekpeyong and the NIA Director Ayo Oke refused being arrested by the EFCC who came with a warrant for their arrest.
