JUSTICE Oyebola Adepele-Ojo on Monday, October 7, 2022 said she heard from the grapevine that someone told someone that she was desperate to jail someone.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

She added that the grapevine also had it that she has taken bribe in the case of the alleged murder of Timothy Oludare Adegike at the Hilton Honours Hotel, Ile-Ife, Osun State in November 2021.

 

 

 

 

 

Adepele-Ojo said she was never desperate to jail anyone but was desperate to conclude the case with utmost despatch.

 

 

 

 

 

She added that she has never taken any bribe and will never take any. She said was contented with what she has and that she prefers to borrow if she is in need of money.

“If there is anyone who collected any money on my behalf, the person should please return it.”

 

 

MEANWHILE, the first defendant in the murder case of Timothy Adegoke  an MBA-EXECUTIVE student of Obafemi Awolowo University (OAU), Dr. Rahman Adedoyin was present in court today with six others standing trial in the case.

 

 

 

 

Adedoyin was absent in Court in the previous two court proceedings before today.

 

 

 

 

The Judge is on the ruling for an amendment charge.
