More results are coming in from few of the Local Government areas in Ekiti State in the ongoing governorship election in Ekiti State.

INEC officials have concluded the voting exercise in most Polling Units and have sent results to local government headquarters.

The Ekiti State governorship polls was keenly contested between candidates of the All Progressives Congress, APC, the Social Democratic Party, SDP, and the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP.

The All Progressives Congress (APC), candidate Biodun Oyebanji, has already scored the highest number of votes in Emure local government area in Saturday’s Ekiti State.
