One of the high ranking Oba in Ogun State, Eselu of Iselu, HRH Oba Akintunde Akinyemi has lent his voice in support of Yorubaland liberator and an activist, Sunday Adejumo popularly known as Sunday Igboho.
Oba Eselu of Iselu Kingdom said in BBC News in Pidgin monitored by SOJ WORLDWIDE, http://www.sojworldnews.com that they did not hate the Fulanis but the bad ones in their midst.
He said nobody can go into the north and drinking beer or ‘ogogoro’ the person will be arrested and be taken to Sharia court,
“And that is our argument in Yorubaland, if we don’t come to the north and become a nuisance and abuse the law. We don’t want any Fulani to come here and take us for granted.”
“Because the situation now in our area is like ‘indirect slavery’, that’s the way we see it. Because if we cannot go to school, if your crops are being destroyed, if you cannot even talk because of fear of prosecution. Already you are looking at yourself to be a slave in your land.and it is never done anywhere.”

“So we don’t have problems with the peaceful Fulanis because afterall, Igbos are here, Hausas are here. Why is anybody not talking about the Hausas, we have over 1,000 of them here, they are peaceful but the Fulanis, the bad ones have become a threat to our land.”
“That is why we say, we are not asking for too much, we want the law to take it’s cause on every individual who do not obey the law. Because you cannot come here at the deterrent of the lives of our people and think you are above the law, nobody is above the law.”
