National Leader of the All Progressives Congress (APC) and presidential hopeful, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed TINUBU paid courtesy visits to the Awujale of Ijebuland, HRH Oba Sikiru Adetona and Alake of Egbaland, Oba Adedotun Gbadebo to get their royal blessings on his presidential ambition.

He declared at the Alake of Egbaland Palace that he told President Muhammadu Buhari that he wanted to step into his shoes not on his toes.

Tinubu had visited Buhari at the Aso Villa in January to inform the president of his ambition.

However, The APC leader on Saturday said, “I told the President I want to replace you and I don’t want to offend you. I told the President that I want to step in his shoes but not step on his toes.”
