INSIDE LIFE: Eyewitness narrates how his two children, four of his family members were gunned down in Osun

The spate of insecurity in Osun State has increased with the killings of six members of the same family were gunned down on Sunday, March 14, 2021. 

The wailing and crying of surviving family members and sympathizers was better seen than imagined.

An eyewitness who narrowly escaped untimely death but lost two of his children narrated the gory event.

He said on Sunday night, four people on two motorcycles came to Wasimi and ordered Alhaja, Alhaji, one other woman and three children were ordered out in the night. 

“It was yesterday they came out with two motorbikes, this is where they parked”

“They came saying Alhaja we want to see you outside and her sister called Taye, they also called out Alhaji and one other woman and three children.”

“They ordered them to seat down, before you know it, they were fired. Two other people sustained various degree of injuries.

The man saw it live how two of his children were gunned down.

The Deputy Governor, Benedict Alabi condemned the gruesome murder of the six members of same family saying it was not a matter of herders and farmers clash but it was a case of mass murder. He said the perpetrators of the crime will be fished out and brought to book.
