“The victims identified him and narrated their ordeal in the hands of this gang,” CSP Umma said.

The suspects were arrested by operatives from the Zonal Dragon Squad 2, following intelligence reports about a violent syndicate of armed robbers and AIYE cultists who had been terrorizing residents and robbing motorcycle riders and hijacking cement trucks along Onigbedu axis of Ewekoro LGA.
Upon arrest, police recovered from the suspects:
One (1) locally made pistol

Two (2) unregistered Bajaj motorcycles
One (1) Beretta pistol with 13 live rounds
Cash sum of N300,000 allegedly stolen during a previous robbery

Police confirmed that one of the gang members, believed to be in possession of some of the stolen items, is still at large. Efforts are ongoing to apprehend him and recover the remaining exhibits.
Justice Awaited
CSP Umma assured the public that the suspects currently in custody are undergoing intense interrogation and will be charged to court as soon as investigations are concluded. Meanwhile, a manhunt has been launched for other fleeing members of the gang.
