LAST week the Lagos State Governor, Babajide Sanwo-Olu ordered the arrest of a Junior Army Officer along Mile 2-Badagry Expressway for driving against the traffic.
The following day, a Junior Army Officer’s video went viral on Social Media calling the Governor unprintable news without any official statement from the top management arresting the situation, a man appeared in Army uniform dishing out insults on Sanwo-Olu for ordering the arrest of the soldier.
“Is this man a serving Army Officer?
This issue might degenerate if the Chief of Army Staff did not call his men to order.
Two wrongs cannot make a right, the Officer is openly calling the Governor a mad man in a sane society and the men at the top kept quiet.
A junior officer had earlier insulted the governor, he was left alone.
We salute our soldiers for all their sacrifices for us but they are also equally not above the law.

This goes to show that Nigerians both military and civilians has no respects for people in authorities if the junior army officer can insult a sitting governor without any caution and another military man went online to do same.that means if it were to be ordinary citizens, the military can even kill such person without questioning. Can this happen in the so called development nations without being summoned by the army ruling body. It is only when the uniform men respect the civilian that the civilian will reciprocate such after all, the civilians pays their salary from their taxes.no wonder the US citizens love and always give standing ovation, love and pray for their uniform men cause those uniform men also respect the citizens. These soldiers needed to be dealt with no matter their ranks to send a right signal to Nigerians be you military or civilian. A governor needed to be respected no matter who you are because he/she represents the authorities, the people and the constitutions
