MANY Feared Killed In Tragic Multiple Crashes At Army Checkpoint In Enugu (VIDEO)

A fatal multiple crashes has claimed the lives of many travellers when a truck failed break and overran so many vehicles that were stopped at the hilly road, killing so many people.


An unconfirmed claimed that, at least 25 people were reportedly died in a tragic incident at Ugwu Onyeama in Enugu State along the Enugu-Onitsha Federal Highway.


The accident which involved 10 vehicles both private and commercial buses was reportedly occured at Army checkpoint.

So many others who were said to have been seriously injured were currently being taken to hospitals in and around the State Capital.


According to an eyewitnesses, a truck failed break and overran so many vehicles that were stopped at the hilly road, killing so many people.



A trailer plying the newly constructed lane failed break and smashed more than 10 cars both private cars and commercial buses.

“The army checkpoint at that axis continues to claim lives.

“More than 25 persons lost their life instantly and many rushed to the hospital,” one of the eyewitnesses told SOJ WORLDWIDE.

A video of the incident shared with SOJ WORLDWIDE showed bodies of victims scattered on the road. Some vehicles including a petrol tanker truck were seen plunged into a nearby ditch.


Some cars were seen smashed beyond recognition.
