OKOWA, Datti call for cancellation of election results

THE Vice-Presidents of the Labour Party, Datti Ahmed-Baba and Peoples Democratic Party, Dr. Ifeanyi Okowa jointly held a Press Conference in Abuja supporting their Party Agents walk out on INEC Collation Centres Monday.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

In his statement, Okowa said the INEC Chairman, Professor Mahmood Yakubu is not excited about the Electoral Law. He added that all election results must be transmitted at the polling units.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Datti said they are in support of the actions of the Agents who walked out from the INEC Collation Centres.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

‘The next government will be built on outright illegality. What INEC wanted is to allow illegality and later asked the aggrieved parties to go to the court.”
