Omipidan, CPS to Osun Gov Oyetola fires Hon Bamidele over Osun Airport

Mr Ismail Omipidan, the Chief Press Secretary (CPS) to the Osun State Governor, Mr Adegboyega Oyetola has berated Hon Bamidele Salam, the Honourable representing Ede South, Ede North, Egbedore and Ejigbo Federal Constituency in the state over the MKO Abiola Airport at Ido-Osun in the State capital.

During the maiden edition of the Osun Online Media Practitioners (OOMPA) Media Parley, Hon Salam said Governor Oyetola did not make himself accessible to him to contribute his part that would make the Airport a reality.

But Omipidan in his reaction to the team of Online Media Practitioners, he said Hon Salami lied, that he Indeed approached him but unfortunately Governor Oyetola was out of the state on an official assignment at the time.

Omipidan said, Hon Salami indeed met with the Deputy Governor, Mr Benedict Gboyega Alabi in which case they had group photograph together after they had jointly resolved part of the bottlenecks hindering the continuation on the airport project.

He said the airport has been given required attention by the Federal Government in collaboration with the state government.
