The All Progressives Congress has postponed its primary election slated for tommorrow.
According to the Director of Publicity of the party, Kunle Oyatomi, the postponement was “due to unforseen development.”
Since the closure for submission of party’s candidate to INEC will close on Sunday, it will either hold this Saturday or Sunday.
The press release made available to SOJWORLD.COM, Oyatomi said, “Due to unforseen development, the All Progressives Congress in the state of Osun has announced the postponement of the primary to choose its gubernatorial flagbearer for September 22 election that was supposed to hold tomorrow, July 19, 2018.”
“The party regretted this development but promised that sooner than later, a new date will be fixed
