Osun 2022: Osun Not Ekiti, Davido kicks against rigging of Osun Governorship Election

Popular Nigerian singer, David Adeleke, popularly  known as Davido on Monday warned against rigging the governorship election in Osun State.

Davido while speaking ahead of the July 16 governorship election noted that the people of Osun would resist all attempts to rob them of their vote.

The singer who believes his uncle, Ademola Adeleke the governorship candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party was robbed by the All Progressives Congress and its candidate, Gboyega Oyetola in 2018, noted that such would not repeat itself in 2022.

He added that at the end of the election in Osun State they would rejoice.

This is coming after the ruling APC and its candidate in Ekiti State, Biodun Oyebanji defeated the candidate of the PDP, Bisi Kolawole who emerged third in the electoral process.

There were allegations of vote-buying in the election which was held last Saturday.

Davido in his reaction to the governorship election and speaking on the forthcoming election in Osun State said, “Osun is not Ekiti as our people will lawfully resist all attempts to rob them as was done in 2018. July 16 we shall rejoice!
