THE Chief Executive Officer and Founder of Global Infrastructure Partners (GIP), Global Infrastructure Fund Managers and owner of Gatwick Airport in the United Kingdom who is also a proud son of Ogun State, Bayo OGUNLESI (CON) paid a courtesy visit to the Gateway International Agro-Cargo Airport, Ilishan-Remo, Ogun State.
On tour with him was the Governor of the State, Prince Dapo Abiodun and other government functionaries.
Dapo Abiodun quoted OGUNLESI as saying, he has never seen an airport in the world built as fast as the Ogun Cargo Airport.

“We were at the Gateway International Agro-Cargo Airport, Ilishan-Remo with a notable investor operating globally within the aviation industry, Mr. Bayo Ogunlesi – CON, Chief Executive Officer and Founder of Global Infrastructure Partners (GIP), global infrastructure fund managers and owner of Gatwick Airport in the United Kingdom who is also a proud son of Ogun State.
He commended our infrastructure development strides, especially with the airport project, noting that there has never been an airport across the world that was built as fast as we have done in Ogun State.”
