Police arrests 148 fans rioting aftermath PSG defeat by Bayern, cars set on fire

Police have arrested at least 148 football fans rioting outside Paris St-Germain’ Stadium (PSG) stadium, BBC SPORT reported.

Thousands of fans had gathered outside the Parc des Princes stadium to watch the Champions League final on a big screen.

French police say they have made the arrests following riots in the capital after Paris St-Germain’s 1-0 defeat by Bayern Munich in the Champions League final on Sunday.

The clashes occurred on the Champs-Elysees and around the Parc des Princes stadium, where fans had gathered to watch the game.

Cars were set on fire and shop windows were smashed, police said.
