Gunmen suspected to be herdsmen have declared war on Ondo State with the killing of two farmers and three rescuers at Arimogija Community in the Ose Local Government Area of Ondo State.

This is coming four days after the Herdsmen attacked Molege village, in the same Ose LGA, killing three people and burning several houses.

According to an eyewitness, those killed in the Monday attack were youths in the community.

He said, “They attacked the people working on the farm and killed two of them. It was those injured in the first attack that called other villagers for help, and while those who went to rescue them were trying to take the injured back home for treatment, the herdsmen appeared again and killed three more people.”
